No. While you cannot purchase either of these advancements if you do not have the Level 1 (Forsaken Artillery) advancement, you can use them if you already purchased them previous to using the Artillery Die.

When the Brawnen use their Artillery Die, does it turn off or remove their Level 2 (Gate Dispatchers) or Level 3 (Gate Spikes) advancements?
